Associate - Sustainability

Details of the role requirements include:
• Providing strategic advice on sustainability, with a particular focus on buildings and development.
• Providing practical, project-focused advice and assessments on improving the sustainability of buildings and development (covering such impacts as carbon emissions, energy efficiency, waste and recycled content, etc), and with a particular focus on the cost and economic implications of these impacts.
• Taking responsibility for associated research, analysis and, where appropriate, the development of new tools and capabilities to support such assessments.
• Helping to co-ordinate contributions from other key service lines within the company (eg Tax, Spec Writing, Consulting) to the sustainability service.
• Supporting the development and implementation of company's CSR policy, especially in relation to environmental matters.
• Helping to raise awareness, and to improve the capability of the company's personnel generally in relation to sustainability and the environmental impact of construction and buildings.
• Sharing responsibility for day to day management of others in the sustainability team.
