Associate Commercial Agent - within CRE team
£45000 - £60000 per annum + car, pension, bonus
London
Our client is a leading global real estate consultancy with an ever expanding CRE division as a result of unparallelled success. The role is client facing and transaction based, encompassing the acquisition of buildings and sites across the UK, and the subsequent leasing of these assets to one key client: a high street bank.
The Role:
• Working as part of a dedicated team of 5, your focus will solely be on your client: a high street bank, and adding value to their occupational premises from a transaction management perspective.
• Acquisition work:
Working closely with property-owning clients in developing an acquisition strategy. This will involve detailed location analysis and interaction with the clients’ specialist teams to consider a range of factors that layer up to produce a profile of appropriate schemes.
Establish commercial parameters with the client to enable you to lead the negotiations of acquisitions on a freehold or leasehold basis.
• Leasing work:
Aligning with the occupier community to develop an understanding of requirements to enable the candidate to advise the client as to the optimum commercial terms available.
Lead the commercial negotiations and manage a variety of occupier teams, not just real estate involved in pulling together the transaction.
The Person:
• Associate level, currently working as an Agent with either a London or national focus and extensive network of contacts.
• Possibly MRICS – not essential
• Worked for
• ‘Deal junkie’: you must thrive on getting deals over the line, and you will have a demonstrable successful track record.
• General Practice background, understands the drivers of real estate as opposed to just ‘doing deals’
• Confident/credible persona: able to hold your own
If you feel you meet the above criteria and would like to apply in the strictest of confidence, please send your most recent CV to tdickson@cobaltrecruitment.com before Monday 25th January and quote reference 21784.
