We are currently looking for an interim Property Valuation Officer to join a busy and thriving London Borough. The role will initially be from 4 months with the prospect of further extension thereafter.
You will be working very closely with the Valuation Manager and Valuation adviser on valuation and property development matters arising during the property management of the Council’s portfolio.
An up to date asset valuation register needs to be maintained, and you will also be advising on negotiations for the acquisition, disposal, letting and development agreements on behalf of the council as necessary. You will be undertaking estate management of the councils commercial and operational portfolio, including markets and workshops.
Recent local authority experience is essential for this position, and ideally London local authority experience. Please do not apply if you do not have this background, as your application won’t be considered.
