Senior Estimator - Infrastructure

Our client is one of the countries leading infrastructure contractors and due to continued growth and current project demands they are currently recruiting for a Senior Estimator.
This award winning company is one of the fastest rising stars on the New Zealand Infrastructure landscape. Their innovative approach to project delivery and their reputation for bringing in projects on time and on budget has them tendering for and winning major cap-ex projects in the transport, rail, water and energy sectors.
To join this successful team you will need to have at least 10 years experience in heavy civils estimation and be comfortable working on large scale projects.
Some of the responsibilities of this role include regular involvement with sub contractors, cost control/reporting activity and working closely with the bid team to prepare tender documentation.
Pre-requisites for this position include;
-Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or similar
-Studied and methodical approach
-Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
-The ability to work closely with a great team
