M&E Senior Project Surveyor

A leading multidisciplinary construction & property consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Project M&E Surveyor to an established business line in Glasgow.
This role requires an experienced candidate who will have gained broad sector experience from working as a cost consultant within a professional consultancy practice or multi-disciplinary environment. Supporting an existing team, you will work on a broad range of commercial projects across Scotland & the North of England.
An enthusiastic and ambitious individual, you will have particular experience of the following areas:
• Proven track record in the delivery of projects from feasibility through to final accounts.
• Ability to offer advice on a host of solutions from budgetary control, value engineering, design appraisal, option costing and strategic management.
• Demonstrable competence in undertaking and presenting complex feasibility studies and cost plans.
• Preparing and presenting cost reports with clarity and confidence.
• Production of tender documentation, contract documents, post contract documents and final accounts.
• Proven experience of developing client relationships to a level where it is possible to assist in shaping projects through the provision of valued and timely advice.
• A first class appreciation of construction/project management processes, able to add significant value through understanding of the client’s business.
• Working independently, handling responsibility and balancing workload.
• Robustness in the context of dealing with commercial issues and the ability to prove a position with facts.
