The Company

Our client is one of the leading real estate investment trust (REIT) who are recognized for their expertise and corporate governance practices and culture. As the business continues to grow, there is a need to bring on a compliance manager who will manage the compliance function across the business.


Responsibilities include:

  • Support of the internal controls and risk management systems
  • Assist in preparing board papers on risk management and variance compliance matters
  • Plan, schedule and coordinate internal audits to determine the effectiveness of internal controls, efficiency of operations and compliance with corporate policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Code on Collective Investment Schemes, Listing Rules, Securities and Futures Act, Code on Corporate Governance, Anti-Money Laundering, Companies Act and Personal Data Protection Act
  • Review consultation papers and circulars issued by the MAS and other regulators in the area of compliance and disseminate information, highlight impact to the business and implement all updates and revisions
  • Provide advice on general compliance (including Outsourcing, Technology Risk Management, AML/CFT, PDPA, FATCA, etc.)
  • Ensure proper reporting of violations or potential violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate


Interested candidates must:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Law
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in compliance or related role
  • Good knowledge of relevant financial laws, rules and regulations such as SGX Listing Rules, SFA, MAS Regulations, Companies Act, Code of Corporate Governance, etc.
  • Prior interaction with Regulators will be an added advantage
  • Analytical, meticulous and good problem solver
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
