Project Manager - Consultancy

An award winning International PQS firm is looking to grow and seeks a Project Manager to take accountability and ownership for that Department. This business works in partnership with their clients across a wide range of public and private sector projects, providing high quality services and outcomes.

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone to be mentored, developed and supported by some of the best people in Construction, while also adding value and knowledge to the PM space and given autonomy to implement ideas and strategies.

This leading Consultancy has a high focus on their people and succession planning of their careers. They acknowledge variety and diversity and will allow you to work on a wide range portfolio of projects including Residential, Education, mixed use developments, Hotels and Leisure, with values between $50M - $500M.

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with all teams on complex issues, risk management and progress on projects
  • Assisting to manage the project programme and cost plan along with productivity
  • Keeping Directors informed of project progress and cost status
  • Effectively work with team and managers to ensure relevant communication with the clients is done in a timely and professional manner
  • Ensuring design specifications are being met during the construction process
  • Build a strong relationship with your clients so they are confident in your ability and for future work

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified
  • Experience working in a consultancy or client representative project management role
  • A genuine motivation and can-do attitude to establish a long term career in the industry
  • Able to demonstrate project delivery in either one or more sectors including; commercial, education, infrastructure and hotel projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills dealing with demands of the clients while managing designers and contractors on site
