Quantity Surveying (Development Management) Opportunity with Boutique Residential Developer - Central London - High Rise Residential and Hotel Schemes
Salary up to £70,000
Plus performance related bonus.
Cobalt has the pleasure of working in partnership with a highly established boutique residential developer based in central London. They focus on high rise residential and hotel new build developments across the capital.
They currently have over £2 billion worth of GDV within their development pipeline and are therefore looking for someone from a professional quantity surveying/cost management background to join the team.
This is a very rare and exciting opportunity for someone from a quantity surveying background to develop into a dual role as a quantity surveyor and development manager where you will gain skills in the front end acquisition stages, development appraisal and planning.
Day to day you will be involved in the full project life-cycle including; cost planning and design, programming , schedule of rates, valuation of construction works, management of final accounts, change control, risk management, project coordination and management. Including the day to day coordination of projects you will also be responsible for managing external consultants and working closely with the design team and architects.
Typical schemes range in size from 200 to 800 units.

Quantity Surveying (Development Management) Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying/Cost Management/Construction/Project Management.
- MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB.
- Residential project experience.
- Previously worked for a consultancy, developer or main contractor.
- Ability to think with a commercial mind set.
- Excellent communication skills.
