Senior Structural Engineer

The Company:
Medium sized multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy with close to 30 in Christchurch. Their workload has shifted from residential to mainly commercial, indicative of the Christchurch market conditions. Outside of work, they enjoy company trips away for the weekend and playing in a social touch rugby competition. They have a very low turnover rate due to providing excellent working conditions.

The Opportunity:
Due to their national reputation, they have several large commercial projects on the horizon for Christchurch and throughout the South Island. The opportunity on offer is for someone with commercial design experience who is looking to step into a leadership position and lead the structural design for these large scale projects.

About you:
• Experienced in structural design for commercial and/or industrial buildings in New Zealand.
• Ability to communicate with other employees, clients, and management.
• A commitment to the commercial success of the structural engineering team and the Company.
