Our client is an established planning consultancy who is seeking to further strengthen its team with the addition of an experienced Associate Planner to manage and contribute to projects that span across London and the wider South East.
Situated within the London office the Associate Planner will join a team that works with clients including major retailers, house builders, developers and local authorities on a variety of schemes but with a particular focus on retail and mixed-use projects. The Associate Planner will become an integral member of the team and will be afforded the opportunity to maintain relationships with existing clients whilst also developing new client relationships and building a team around that growth of the client base.
The ideal Associate Planner will have gained extensive experience of retail projects across the city; however, residential and commercial experience will be advantageous. Experience of mentoring and managing junior consultants throughout the planning process will be useful as you shall become involved in the management of schemes and staff. The Associate Planner will be able to demonstrate their ability to develop new business and will be ambitious about their own future progression as well as the growth of the business. Chartered RTPI membership is essential and the Associate Planner will have extensive experience of the preparation, submission and negotiation of planning applications and will be experience with planning appeals.
