My client, a fast-growing and established development company in Asia and SEA, are seeking to appoint a Head of Department for the Commercial business unit of their business.


Based in Singapore but with a regional scope, this senior appointment offers a rare chance to be working on exciting mixed-use projects that will change the urban landscape in SEA and beyond.


You must be well-versed in retail and commercial developments and will be leading a team in providing technical expertise for commercial projects including hotels and shopping malls.


You must be experienced in end-to-end project delivery and development from Design to Construction, through to Operations and Asset Management. You would be responsible for ensuring the successful launch and marketing of the project, leading on business development and securing tenants and customers.


The successful appointment will start up a new team and will be expected to build up, sustain and manage a high performance team as well. This is a new role but as the company is in a stage of rapid expansion, you can expect to have around 30 people reporting to you in the next 12 to 18 months.


You will have significant regional experience in APAC and SEA, including Malaysia, India, China, Philippines, Vietnam, etc.


You will have a good Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate/ Construction/ Engineering, with at least 15 to 20 years experience in large-scale commercial projects APAC (especially for hotels and shopping malls).


You would be willing to travel.
