Leasing Administrator - Property

An owner/operator of Commercial Assets nationwide and in the greater Auckland area is looking for a gun administrator with Retail & Commercial Leasing or Property Legal experience.  This person will work alongside the General Manager of Retail, taking sole responsibility for all Lease Documentation for their key Assets. 

A core focus of this role is being accountable for the lease agreements, and managing stakeholder relations with Accounts, Solicitors, Centre Management, and Asset Management teams.  You will be coordinating bank guarantees, record keeping, handling security deposits, and updating key tenancy information.  Additional responsibilities include processing capital expenditure claims for submission to relevant landlords, managing all leasing files, and maintaining the contact database.

You will need to have key industry knowledge and a solid understanding of managing the end to end processes associated with commercial leasing documentation including legal requirements.       

This client is looking for the following key characteristics, Technical and Behavioural:


  • A tertiary qualification (Property/Law related discipline preferred);
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Diligent record keeping;
  • Attention to detail;
  • Self motivation and initiative;
  • Highly functioning team player, and also strong autonomy skills; and
  • Knowledge and experience with Commercial leases


This role is a key component within a very busy team, working collaboratively with other key areas within the business, management, leasing, and asset planning.  You will be joining a lively business with fun, motivated and approachable people, working within a professional corporate environment.  Remuneration level for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 depending on level of experience.
