A leading management team of Property assets on the behalf of charitable trusts is looking for a new member for their team in Procurement and Contract Management.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to implement your procurement expertise in a corporate environment. You will be part of the decision making process adding professional value through your facilities procurement expertise. This contract position's remuneration is expected to be circa $70K - $80k (depending on experience) with attached future career opportunities to move to a permanent basis upon effective work and success in the role.
Our Client works with charitable and not-for-profit organisations. Experience in the industry has developed their philosophies and services providing a reach beyond most other professional advisors in this sector. They now have an expanding workload which has created a new opportunity for an experienced member in Service contracts (Property & Facilities), Documentation, Procurement, and to lead the Health & Safety aspect for the entity.
Joining the team, you will take a lead role in these areas as well has having the support from other members in the Property & Facilities team. You will directly review and deliver contract renewals and tenders, while managing the Health & Safety aspects for the wider portfolio.
This is a 24 month contract Procurement Manager FM & Property Services position. Managing this workload will require an extremely hands on approach. This position will suit someone who enjoys the day to day procurement process, has a can-do attitude, and understands H&S initiatives and practices. You will also enjoy the sensitivities relating to relationships within this unique sector, and be motivated to develop an influential network of internal contacts.
A positive attitude with a demonstrated ability to take ownership and be accountable for your work. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment and you will need to be a team player. There is a degree of regulation upon which you will need to understand and deliver within - so your experience will need to be from New Zealand or a similarly regulated environment. The confidence and capacity to multi task is also important. Do you match the below points?
