An exciting opportunity exists to join the Retail Property team at Sylvia Park; New Zealand’s preeminent Shopping Centre, owned and managed by Kiwi Property.

The company is now recruiting for a Property Manager to be based at Sylvia Park, joining the centre management team. Reporting in to the Assistant Centre manager, you will be responsible for managing Sylvia Park Lifestyle Centre and other adjoining assets. You will also be assisting with the administration of Sylvia Park and the centre management office.
Role specifics include:
- Administration and management of Sylvia Park Lifestyle Assets;
- Budgeting and strategic planning for assets;
- Collecting rent and maintaining appropriate records;
- Liaising with contractors, designers and other parties to ensure the efficient management of the property;
- Assisting with monthly reporting requirements; and
- Building relationships with retailers, customers and other stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
You will have graduated with a property degree with at least one years’ experience working in a property environment. As you will be responsible for compiling reports you must have excellent written and oral English with high accuracy. You must be able to work autonomously, be highly organised and be able to manage priorities. Most importantly you will be a team player who is happy to get “stuck in” to get the work done. This will be a varied, busy role so you will need to have the ability to multitask and juggle priorities, think on your feet and be able to adapt to change.
