Our client is a highly reputable block management company based in the heart of Victoria. Their reputation has been built on their high levels of customer service and has been solidified predominantly through word of mouth.

They are responsible for a large proportion and high-end blocks located throughout central London with a specific focus around Victoria, Marylebone and Chelsea

Due to a growth in their portfolio, they are now looking for and experienced Senior Block Manager to come in and look after one of their more prestigious sites. The site includes a high-end block and would require at least a day of on-site management meaning that single site experience is desired but not essential.

You would be expected to:

  • Carry out bi-monthly inspections of the properties and day to day management of the portfolio
  • Prepare service charge budgets for the client's approval
  • Attend and chair AGM's, Director meetings and resident meetings, chairing and taking minutes of meetings when required
  • Produce Section 20 notices and oversee major works projects, being the main point of contact for maintenance staff and contractors
  • Dealing with pre-contract enquiries from solicitors; licenses to sublet and alterations

Key requirements:

  • Professional and presentable with a personable demeanour
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Extremely strong communication skills
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as with a team
  • In-depth knowledge of the current Housing/Rent Acts legislation and health & safety.
  • Experience within property repair and maintenance
