Finance manager roles within Property
The Finance Manager Roles we work on can have a varied focus and duties depending on the size of the organisation and finance team, which can be expanded on as below:
Finance Manager (Corporate)
These managers will have line management or sole responsibility for the production of management or financial accounts available to the internal “corporate” business to aid decision making and financial management – i.e. reporting on performance, managing budgets and forecasts as well as costs, maximising opportunities and minimising risk.
Finance Manager (Group)
Responsible for consolidating results at a group level, ensuring compliance with internal as well as external guidelines (IFRS or GAAP), statutory reporting to shareholders and the market.
Finance Manager (Commercial)
Responsibility for activity or growth within a specific area of business (e.g. regions, contracts or bids). These individuals interpret data to ensure robust management and planning to deliver the best returns and commercial outcomes for the business. This will normally incorporate financial modelling skills and a strong analytical background.
Fund Accounting Manager
Specific to funds with responsibility for all investor and regulatory reporting (NAV, FCA), compliance, maintenance of models and investor correspondence.
Finance Operations Manager
Line management responsibility for teams that look after the day-to-day operations of the company purchase and sales ledger, credit control and cash flow management.
