Cobalt Water and Waste
Cobalt's specialist Water and Waste division is split into five teams, each covering a range of institutions within waste, wastewater and water. These teams are: Technical/Engineering, Environmental, Facilities Management, Finance and Accounting. Within our specialist water and waste teams we distinguish ourselves through the quality of our consultants who benefit from first hand industry knowledge, as well as proven recruitment experience.

Technical/Engineering
The Technical/Engineering team provides candidates at each stage of the project lifecycle from newly qualified civil and structural Engineers to Project Manager and Technical Director level appointments. Our instructions have encompassed a broad range of specialist requirements including: Drainage, Sewerage, Hydrology, Flood Risk and Defence, Telemetry, Landfill and other specialist areas of waste disposal.
Environmental
The Environmental team recruits across a range of disciplines including: Water Planning incl. Flood Risk Management & Modelling; Hydrogeology & Geo-Environmental Investigation, Design & Remediation; Geotechnical & Soil Engineering; Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (EH&S), Environmental Management (EMS) and Audit; Due Diligence and Transactions Advisory; CSR Audit & Strategy; Sustainable Development Environmental Planning such as EIA, SEA, HIA & ESIA.
Facilities Management & Business Support
The FM team provides support to organisations within the sector that are looking to efficiently manage their assets. The team recruits Operations Managers and Facilities Managers including those with experience in managing WWTW and WTW, research facilities and data centres. In addition they recruit Personal Assistants, Office Managers and HR as part of the business support function.
Finance
The Finance team works across the sector covering in-house M&A, Corporate Development and Financial Modelling positions. As a niche specialist we recruit vertically from analyst through to MD level.
Accounting
The Accounting team recruits for a broad range of clients covering, but not limited to, the following positions: CFOs, Finance Directors, Financial Controllers, Management/Financial/Fund/Project Accountants and clerical accounting staff at all levels.
All of these teams recruit on a permanent, interim and temporary basis. They recruit across the UK and globally.
