About the Role
Account Executive - Outside Sales | NYC Real Estate & HVAC
Mount Vernon, NY | Full-Time | Field-Based | OTE $150,000 - $180,000+
Our client is a growing energy services company serving over 1,000 buildings across the New York metro area. They combine proprietary smart controls technology with full-service boiler maintenance to deliver guaranteed energy savings for multifamily and commercial buildings - one company, one call, zero downtime.
They are seeking an Account Executive to own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, building relationships with property management companies, building owners, and managing agents across NYC and Westchester.
What You'll Do
- Research and qualify target properties; build and maintain pipeline in HubSpot
- Identify and pursue new business across multifamily residential (co-ops, condos) and commercial segments
- Execute outbound prospecting via in-person building visits, phone, and email campaigns
- Attend networking events and industry associations to generate leads
- Present the integrated controls and service value proposition to decision-makers
- Collaborate with estimating, field engineering, and service teams on proposals and agreements
- Provide market feedback to leadership on competitive landscape and customer needs
What They're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of B2B sales experience selling into the NYC real estate market
- Strong understanding of property management structures, co-op/condo boards, and owner/operator dynamics
- Proven track record meeting or exceeding targets in a service or project-based selling environment
- Consultative sales skills: qualification, needs assessment, value-based proposals, and close
- Comfortable with significant outbound activity in a field-based role
- HubSpot or comparable CRM proficiency
- Knowledge of energy management or HVAC a plus, not required
