Assistant Project Manager - Luxury Custom Home Builder (East Hampton, NY)

A premier builder of high-end custom homes in the Hamptons, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to join their elite team. For over three decades, they has defined excellence in luxury residential construction through meticulous craftsmanship, personalized client service, and a hands-on management approach.

This role will require regular travel and on-site management at project locations in East Hampton, NY.

Pay: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities include:

• Support the Project Manager in all aspects of project planning, scheduling, and coordination

• Assist with procurement, budgeting, and project cost control

• Communicate and collaborate with architects, designers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain high construction standards

• Participate in client meetings and site walkthroughs, providing updates and assisting in resolving issues efficiently

• Ensure strict adherence to budgets, schedules, and design specifications

• Utilize industry-standard software (ProCore, BlueBeam, Primavera, etc.) for scheduling, document management, and change order tracking

• Maintain accurate project documentation and assist in preparing progress reports

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in luxury custom home construction or high-end residential projects

• Must be local to East Hampton, NY

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field

• Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, BlueBeam, or Primavera

• Strong understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documentation

• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of supporting multiple active projects
