We are a NYC-based general contractor seeking an experienced construction Project Superintendent to lead interior operations on a luxury multifamily high-rise in Manhattan. Structure is complete - we are in full interior build-out and need someone who can hit the ground running and drive the project to delivery.

The Role

You'll be the boots-on-the-ground field leader for interior construction on a high-profile luxury multifamily project on the Upper East Side. The structure is up - now it's about executing the interior scope cleanly, on schedule, and to an exacting finish standard. You'll manage trade sequencing, enforce quality, push punchlists, and be the face of the GC on the floor every day.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day field operations for interior construction across apartment units, amenity spaces, and common areas
• Manage unit build-out including kitchens, bathrooms, millwork, stone, flooring, cabinetry, and finish hardware
• Sequence and coordinate subcontractors to maintain an aggressive schedule
• Enforce quality control across all finishes - this is a luxury product and the standard is high
• Drive amenity and common area interior scopes to completion
• Coordinate and manage DOB inspections, TCO process, and agency sign-offs
• Maintain site safety compliance and enforce a clean, organized interior environment
• Manage punchlist, unit turnover, and final delivery process
• Work directly with the project team on RFIs, submittals, and field conflict resolution

What You Need

• NYC DOB Licensed Construction Superintendent required - your name must be on the building permit as superintendent of record. DOB Super II license strongly preferred.
• 8-12+ years of NYC construction experience as a field superintendent or assistant superintendent on GC-side projects
• Strong experience managing luxury or market-rate multifamily interior build-outs in NYC - kitchens, baths, high-end finishes, amenities
• Must have experience on projects in interior / post-structure phase
• Ability to manage 10+ subcontractors simultaneously in tight, schedule-driven environments
• Solid knowledge of NYC building code, DOB process, and TCO requirements
• Strong communicator - able to manage up to developers and ownership, and down to trade foremen

Preferred

• DOB Super II (site safety manager) license
• Experience delivering luxury rental or condo projects with top NYC developers or GCs
• Experience with high-end amenity and common area build-outs
• Gut renovation or occupied building renovation experience a plus
• Procore or similar construction management software proficiency

Compensation & Details

• Salary: $160,000 - $195,000 based on experience
• Full-time, in-person - on-site in Manhattan daily
• Immediate need - project is active and moving fast
