Property Manager - Affordable Housing

Title: Property Manager

Location: New Windsor, NY

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and ensure effective maintenance to ensure property efficiency and quality service.
• Implement and maintain effective property management policies and procedures.
• Ensure full compliance with LIHTC regulations, including overseeing annual recertification.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for State and County regulatory reporting.
• Liaise with auditors, inspectors, and compliance officers as needed.
• Supervise and support the onsite maintenance superintendent and any additional staff.
• Monitor rent collections, delinquencies, and enforce lease terms.
• Assist with budgeting and financial reporting in collaboration with ownership or management company.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of affordable housing/LIHTC experience (TCS, C3P or COS preferred).
• Knowledge of LIHTC compliance and experience with annual recertification.
• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Yardi is preferred.
• Must be professional, energetic and positive.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
