About the Role

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and maintain monthly, annual, and multi-year financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for consolidated and location-level P&Ls.

* Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, growth initiatives, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making.

* Partner with business owners and management to understand operating performance, identify trends, and provide actionable financial insights.

* Perform monthly financial statement and variance/flux analysis, identifying key drivers and opportunities for improvement.

* Prepare Actual vs. Plan reporting across consolidated and location-level P&Ls, balance sheets, and cash flows.

* Analyze financial trends, operating metrics, revenue drivers, and expenses and make recommendations to improve profitability and achieve cost savings.

* Drive improvements to financial reporting, planning processes, systems, and overall efficiency.

* Prepare lender reporting packages, financial analyses, and compliance certificates.

* Analyze revenue cycles, and other key operating and financial drivers.

* Serve as a subject matter expert for finance and planning systems, with a strong interest in the intersection of Finance, data, technology, and IT.

* Act as a data and reporting bridge between Finance, Asset Management, and Property Operations, ensuring consistent and accurate financial information across functions.

* Review and ensure expense allocations and related property/company billbacks are accurate, complete, and appropriately supported.

* Monitor, track, and report on financial and operational risk matters, including loan guarantees and other corporate obligations.

* Identify opportunities to automate recurring analyses and reporting using technology, AI, and other financial tools.

* Support the CFO and senior management with ad hoc financial analysis, strategic projects, and other initiatives as the organization grows.

Qualifications

* 4-8 years of progressive finance or FP&A experience; real estate experience is strongly preferred.

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field from an accredited college or university required; MBA is preferred.

* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, with the ability to connect accounting results to business performance.

* Advanced Excel skills and demonstrated experience building and maintaining financial models.

* Strong working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling tools.

* Experience working with ERP, financial planning, business intelligence, or other finance technology platforms.

* Proficiency with AI tools and applications and a demonstrated interest in using technology to improve financial analysis and processes.

* Experience with Yardi and/or Salesforce is a plus.
