VP of Business Development

Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to lead new client acquisition and support strategic growth across local and national markets. This individual will be responsible for expanding the company's network, building long-term industry relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across a range of commercial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy aligned with the company's growth objectives

• Leverage existing relationships at the local and national levels to secure new business

• Build and maintain relationships with developers, property owners, architects, and commercial real estate professionals

• Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and conferences

• Collaborate with internal teams (leadership, marketing, estimating) to develop proposals and project pitches

• Track and manage all business development activity using CRM tools

• Analyze market trends and deliver strategic insights to leadership

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development experience in construction or a related industry, or a proven track record in revenue generation and client development

• A well-developed network of industry contacts and ability to start delivering results quickly

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills

• Highly motivated, results-oriented, and accountable

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Construction Management preferred
