Title: AVP, Commercial Leasing

Location: New York, NY

A National Developer with extensive Multifamily, Commercial & Retail assets throughout the US is looking to recruit an AVP, Commercial Leasing based in their Manhattan HQ.

The Role

Ultimately responsible for identifying, negotiating and securing lease commitments in the Commercial Office and Retail space you will:

  • Establish and meet leasing goals that exceed budgeted occupancy for the Commercial Portfolio. Whereas significant assets are in NY the firm also operates portfolios throughout the Continental USA.
  • Consistently possess intimate knowledge of market and competitor properties, to ensure that the building is positioned favorabl.
  • Continue to build, develop and identify key brokerage relationships in markets served whilst building a direct line of communication with target tenant organizations.
  • Prepare accurate lease packages and renewals in a timely manner.
  • Keep daily accurate records of customer traffic and leases via Yardi software.
  • Prepare, present, and distribute leasing reports to the MD Leasing and company ownership.

The Person

In order to be considered, candidates must display:

  • A valid NY Real Estate salesperson license.
  • At least 3 years' experience of over target achievement in the Commercial Office and Retail leasing space.
  • First class communication skills, excellent work ethic and a highly organized approach to concurrent prospecting activities. This is especially important as candidates may well work from home whilst COVID restrictions exist.
  • A robust, client focused attitude and the ability to negotiate constantly.
