A growing not-for-profit in Midtown wants to immediately add a Budget Analyst to their team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting senior donors, creating presentations, and preparing financial forecasts per residence.

responsibilities

·Support the Chief Financial Officer in the creation of reporting to schools and regional leadership, the Board of Directors, donors, financing partners and regulators,

·Create monthly financial and metrics reporting for schools and programs for the Chief Financial Officer to use in Board of Directors presentations.

·Create quarterly and ad hoc financial reporting packages for board meetings and regulators.

·Schedule regular meetings with school and team budget managers with accurate and meaningful analysis and exceptional, best-in-class customer service

·Supported as a liaison team member between Finance, Development, and Real Estate teams for donor and financial partner reporting by creating budget and spending reports for external donors and financing partners.

·Work with a subset of school and program budget managers across the organization to create annual budgets by Establishing key financial parameters and budgeting guidelines by school band and program.

·Managing the annual setup of budgeting and reporting software.

·Overseeing the complete budget cycle for a subset of schools and/or programs, facilitating the delivery of full and accurate budgets.

·Create and maintain an ongoing accurate financial forecast for schools and programs.

·Support the Chief Financial Officer in maintaining long-term financial models.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, in finance or related field highly preferred.

  • 3+ years of work experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data management, including building and maintaining complex financial models required.

  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and financial statement analysis.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office products with exceptional Excel and PowerPoint skills and an aptitude for learning new software.

  • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills; ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

The Fair market Assumption for this role's base salary is between $90000 and $110000 annually.

The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides for employees.
