A key Compliance Manager has arisen with a Westchester County-based Mechanical Contractor. The Compliance Manager will be responsible for ensuring all payroll processes follow Section 3 ordinances, all prevailing wage documents are correct, and ensuring Subcontractors provide the correct documentation.

Responsibilities

·Stay informed about prevailing wage rates, labor standards, and related regulations in New York.

·Monitor and interpret changes in prevailing wage laws and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders within the organization.

·Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with prevailing wage requirements on construction projects.

·Establish and maintain accurate records of prevailing wage rates, fringe benefits, and other relevant documentation for each project.

·Work closely with project managers and HR to gather and organize necessary documentation to support prevailing wage compliance.

·Prepare and submit prevailing wage compliance reports as required by regulatory authorities.

·Provide timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders regarding prevailing wage compliance status.

·Develop and deliver training programs to educate project teams, contractors, and other relevant personnel on prevailing wage requirements and compliance procedures.

·Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external consultants to address and resolve prevailing wage compliance issues.

·Serve as the point of contact for government agencies and auditors during prevailing wage investigations or audits.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources, Construction Management) or equivalent work experience.

·Proven experience in prevailing wage compliance management within the construction industry, with a focus on New York regulations.

·Strong knowledge of federal and state prevailing wage laws, labor standards, and related compliance requirements.

·Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

·Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

The Fair market Assumption for this role's base salary is between $95000 and $120000 annually.

The above salary range represents Cobalt's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the total rewards package this client provides to employees.
