Leading NYC General Contractor looking for a Scheduler who can independently create master schedules for multi-million dollar commercial interior renovation projects. Competitive base salary + 401k and Great Health Benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide scheduling, monitoring, evaluation and reporting on projects

  • Develop logical sequencing of the work, contract durations and phasing

  • Develop comprehensive plans that communicates the client's project and strategic goals

  • Review and analyze claims, time extensions, and impact on costs

  • Coordinate with project management for schedule updates

  • Utilize scheduling software such as Primavera/Expedition

  • Develop and Maintain CMP schedules with loaded resources

  • Develop recovery schedules and claim schedules when required

  • Coordinate and attend project walk thru' s and pre-bid meetings

  • Work with project staff and management

  • Interaction and coordination with clients' representative

Qualifications:

  • Working proficiency in Primavera Software

  • 5 + years of Construction Scheduling experience, 3+ years at a General Contractor

  • Experience in the review and analysis of claims, time extensions, and impact on costs

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management System

  • Computer proficient and the ability to adapt to new innovations and processes

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to read and understand commercial interior drawings

  • Broad understanding of the commercial interior construction industry
