ConstructionAccounts Receivable (AR) Specialist

Our client is a privately-owned, progressive Steel Contractor operating throughout the NY region. With a reputation for quality and service they are looking to add a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to their team.

The role

• Reports directly to the company Controller
• Keep construction contracts organized in preparation for billing
• Create and submit invoices
• Ensure timely payments from contractors and vendors
• Track overdue payments

The person

• At least 3-5 years of Accounting experience with a specialization in Accounts Receivable functions
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Experience working in a construction environment
• A proven ability to ensure timely payments from contractors
• Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in close knit, professional team
