Title: Junior Construction Project Manager - (Mandarin)

Established, Real Estate Owner/Builder firm in New York, focused on the high-end Residential and mixed-use market are looking to hire a skilled Construction Project Manager with experience in large-scale ground-up projects from cradle-to-grave.

The role:

Close collaboration with upper management to ensure all aspects of construction project progress efficiently and seamlessly. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Manage entire submittal process including: establishing all contract required submittals and assigning responsibility, timely submission of documents, reviewing submittals for completeness, assuring submittals are in accordance with contract requirements and maintaining a submittal log
  • Reviewing all RFI submissions from subcontractors, providing PM with applicable contract and drawing info related to RFI, submission of PM written RFIs and maintaining RFI log
  • Attending all progress meetings and coordination meetings
  • Create two-week look ahead schedules
  • Maintaining project schedules
  • Maintaining record & as-built drawings
  • Assist PM in other areas as required

The person

Only candidates that can display the following experience and qualities will be considered:

  • At least 2 years' of specific GC/CM Construction experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, or any other construction related discipline
  • Mandarin fluency required
  • Expert familiarity with Construction Management Software
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with all levels of the organization
  • First class references, attention to detail and a can do, proactive mentality that is willing to take initiative to help the company grow more efficiently.
