Our client is a privately-owned, progressive Steel Contractor operating throughout the NY region. With an expanding team, they are looking to add a Payroll/HR Manager to their team
Title: Payroll/HR Manager
The person:
- 5-8 years of experience in related role
- Experience working within a Construction setting preferred
- College Degree in Accounting, Finance or Human Resource related field
- Strong background in payroll systems - experience with Paychex heavily preferred
- Desire to improve existing HR policies
- Keeping with the clients core values of being flexible and dedicated
The role:
- Review payroll and update procedures as needed
- Oversee HR requests and continue to improve/create policies that ensure efficiency
- Interact with employees and ensure timely submission of payroll
- Oversee new employee on-boarding, updating employee records and managing benefit administration
Compensation: Base Salary measured on experience + benefits
