Senior Civil Construction Project Manager

General Contractor founded in 1999 specializing in capital improvement and public works projects for numerous public agencies in NY including the NYCDOT and NYCDDC is looking for a Senior Project Manager specializing in heavy civil work, such as underground work, utility upgrades, water mains, substations, sidewalk and street restoration.

Compensation: $150k-$190k base salary + benefits, vehicle compensation, 401k, bonus

Responsibilities

• Oversee team of 4 Project Managers on various multi-million dollar Heavy Civil Projects throughout NYC and the five boroughs.

• Manage the entire project-specific construction process from permits to punch list.

• Oversee subcontractors and vendors/suppliers on the project.

• Monitor and maintain the schedule of progress of the projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Heavy Civil Engineering, underground work

• DOT experience preferred

• 8 years of Project Management experience in the heavy civil industry

• HCSS Excel, P6 or Microsoft project, Take-off software (NYCDDC, NYCEDC, NYCDOT, NYCDEP (just to name a few)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent presentation skills

• Able to work with heavy equipment.
