Well Established Mechanical Contractors Service Department in both the Westchester and Long Island facilities are looking for Sr. Service Technicians to oversee their 20+ technicians.
We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team! Hourly wage + Overtime, benefits, 401k, and ESOP.
You will maintain and repair industrial production and processing machinery. We are seeking a Service Technician to join our team
Preform troubleshooting strategies to diagnose and repair Boilers and ancillary equipment.
Report to the customer and company as to results of troubleshooting.
Write a clean and concise report as to the troubleshooting. Any recommendations and follow up work.
Must be able to read and interpret a mechanical and wiring diagrams.
Familiar with the industries standard controls in flame safeguard, safeties and limits is a plus.
To present yourself as a representative of this company in a professional manor at all times.
Work in a neat professional manor. Leave the customer satisfied in the quality of work provided.
Be courteous to the customer and your co-workers.
Prompt and on time.
Maintain a clean driving record, drive and work safely.
Job Requirements:
Must hold and maintain a valid driving license without restrictions.
Must be physically fit.
Company requires a drug screening and background check prior to employment. (at company's expense).
OSHA 30 is required. Company will hire without OSHA 30 and will subsidize your training and certification.
Must be versed in the OSHA rules as to safety for one's self and others.
Must have your own hand tools.
Company will provide "specialty tools" as it sees fit.
Must be versed in the use of hand and power tools.
The ability to perform some welding is a plus.
Previous experience in the industry is a plus.
Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 75lbs.
