Site Superintendent

Our client is a leading owner/builder/operator specializing in new multifamily residential and commercial construction. They have experienced tremendous growth within the last year and are looking to expand their construction team by adding a construction Superintendent.

The Role:

• Monitor contractor conformance to quality, schedule and safety requirements by performing regular field inspections.
• Participates in punch lists, testing, commissioning and close-out.
• Meet with trade foremen to review Pre-Task plans and daily work activities.
• Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
• Review of construction documents for constructability, code compliance, value engineering, etc.
• Coordination and oversight of all work in the field to successful and timely completion.
• Manage field inspection staff from kick-off to close out.
• Coordinate efforts of subcontractors, suppliers and third party inspectors.
• Review contractor work in place to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Enforces contractor's compliance with Site Safety Plan requirements.
• Report construction status in Project Management Information System (Procore, eBuilder, PlanGrid, etc.).

The Person:

• Must have 5+ years of demonstrated superintendent experience.
• Strong knowledge of all general trades, site work and MEP.
• OSHA 30 HR Certification
• Ability to use technology effectively. Experience using web-based project management software.
• Ability to take charge and effectively manage contractor trades.
• Relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Physical requirements may include walking and standing during the shift, climbing stairs, bending, push and pull objects, lift and move objects (up to 50 lbs.), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movements.
• A high level of integrity and interpersonal skills.
