Senior Associate/VP

Location: based out of Miami, FL

Our client is a privately held Real Estate Developer of large-scale and notable residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects across the nation. They are recognized as one of the most successful entrepreneurial firms across the U.S., and have a portfolio of developments totaling in excess of 10 million square feet and $8 billion.

They are seeking a sharp and dynamic Senior Associate with experience across multiple disciplines including; Acquisitions, Underwriting, Development, Joint Ventures, as they continue to grow and expand their operations. Additional responsibilities include:

The Role:

  • Ascertain and maintain key variables that affect the operations and economic outcome of multiple projects

  • Model, underwrite, evaluate and perform due diligence for complete analysis in intricate investments across several asset classes and geographies.

  • Build and maintain complex financial models for existing assets with multi-faceted business plans and capital structures

  • Liaise and assist as necessary in Development team projects across the nation

  • Assist with Investor Reporting and presentations, while also evaluating, monitoring and reporting on existing protocol, strategies and performance

  • Network with high-net-worth investor clients and institutions, and assist in raising capital

  • Contribute to overall operations including; dispositions, JV oversight, RFP preparation and review and other research assignments.

Education, Experience & Skills:

In order to be considered for this role, the Senior Associate/VP must be able to demonstrate:

  • 5+ years of real estate development and financial modeling experience,

  • Bachelor's and Masters Degree from a highly accredited U.S. educational institution.

  • Expert understanding and familiarity with land acquisitions, development processes, budgets and proformas

  • Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communications skills with all levels of the organization, and ability to be the "face" of the company when necessary

  • First class references, keen attention to detail and a can do, proactive mentality that is willing to take initiative to help the company grow more efficiently.

  • A home location within reasonable distance to commute daily to their headquarters in Miami Beach, FL.
