Title: Superintendent - Commercial Interiors

Location: New York City

Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 Base + Bonus + Benefits

Established General Contractor specializing in designing and building commercial, retail, and residential projects. Actively seeking Superintendent to manage all aspect of construction for a growing portfolio of projects throughout the greater New York City area.

Job Description:

• Effectively monitor, direct, and coordinate all field operations.

• Read and review contract documents, specifications, shop drawings, and submittals.

• Develop and maintain the site logistics plan for the project.

• Liaison between owners and subcontractors/trades.

• Direct meetings with all subcontractors and project team prior to beginning each phase of work.

• Manage all projects from conception to completion and supervise project management team to ensure they are held to a high standard.

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience as a Construction Superintendent working on Commercial projects.

• Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.

• Experienced running projects on time and on/under budget.

• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Understands construction related computer software skills for scheduling and project management.
