Our client is a specialist financial services company, currently undergoing an exciting period of growth. An opportunity is currently available for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join a highly experienced and collaborative finance team.
The role will involve a mixture of accounts payable and receivable tasks, in a high-volume environment, using Xero. Duties, in further detail, will include:
- Accounts Receivable - Direct Debit receipt batch process in Xero, credit card receipts, ad-hoc sales invoicing, ad-hoc credit notes.
- Accounts Payable - Processing staff expense claims in Xero, processing policy claim payments, processing policy refunds, company credit card expense claims.
- Other tasks - Daily bank reconciliations in Xero, assisting other team members as required.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have prior experience in a similar role, particularly in a high-volume, manual, environment where attention to detail is of prime importance. Experience of using Xero will be desirable, otherwise an aptitude and desire to learn will be key. From a personal perspective, a positive mindset and personable nature will stand you in good stead for this role.
