Cobalt are delighted to be working with a high end and award winning estate agency in Birmingham city centre. They are passionate in their dedication to maintaining best in class services to all their customers and we are looking for an experienced Accounts Clerk to join the team. Managing all aspects of accounts, key duties will include:

  • Raise all invoices, applicant/tenant/landlord as required
  • Receipt all monies received
  • Input contractor bills and close works orders
  • Update payments to Landlords and contractors
  • Refund deposits and any other monies
  • Update agency fees
  • Update auto banking file if required, supply payment list
  • Do daily / weekly bank reconciliations
  • Print accounts reports that may be required
  • Update quarterly NRL
  • Any transactions into the office i.e. cheques/debit card
  • Contractor bills
  • Deposit refunds

The Accounts Clerk will also deal with General inquiries from landlords and tenants must be comfortable dealing with all Legal aspects under the Landlord and Tenant Act. You will be advising landlord and tenants of their obligations under the Tenancy agreement whilst preparing and managing daily correspondence. The appointed Accounts Clerk will need to be confident, trustworthy, reliable, honest and loyal and training will be provided.
