I'm working with a residential managing agent, who are due to grow and expand their portfolio of properties, and are seeking a dedicated team leader to give insight and direction to a small accounting team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a small team, set to grow and evolve in due course. Providing both financial accounting guidance and personal development feedback.
  • Providing a realistic and detailed business strategy for the progression of the business.
  • Setting and monitoring attainable and progressive tasks for a team, to ensure the timely completion of invoices and reporting.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, dealing directly with queries that may arise from reporting.
  • Building new relationships with potential clients, including pitching for new business.
  • Ensuring the financial reporting is accurate and completed to a high standard, including service charge accounts, ledgers and cashier functions across the entire portfolio of residential properties.
  • Being an approachable first port of call for all financial queries from the financial team.
  • Ensuring reports adhere to accounting standards from both internal and external accounting bodies.

Personal Specification:

  • Up to date experience within the residential property field essential.
  • Knowledge and experience undergoing full Service Charge, Treasury and Purchase Ledger processes is essential.
  • Ability to communication with all levels of seniority, both written and verbal.
  • A desire to nurture a team and strengthening both internal and external bonds.
