My client are an international property developer who specialise in prime and super-prime residential properties. Their business model consists of acquiring and investing in high yield residential blocks throughout Europe and the US.

They are seeking a Purchase Ledger to join their UK accounting team. You will be joining the company in one of their most exciting periods of expansion. This role will offer you fantastic opportunities internally to take on more responsibility as the company grows.

Key responsibilities:

  • Receive and upload invoices from suppliers.
  • Carry out payment runs on a weekly basis.
  • Liaising with external suppliers and the internal team to resolve any queries.
  • Match, batch and code suppliers invoices to the purchase orders.
  • Setting up new suppliers onto the property management system.
  • Cover for other members in the finance team during holidays and absence.
  • Ad hoc finance tasks.

Personal Specification:

  • The ability to prioritise and co-ordinate tasks efficiently.
  • A pro-active approach to investigate and resolve various issues.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of property management system such as Yardi, Qube, Tramps, Horizon etc.
  • Advanced IT skills (Word, Excel, MS Outlook).
