A unique opportunity has arisen for an Associate level Consultant to join a market leading Cost Consultancy to focus on growing Cost and Commercial Assurance.

This position will find you responsible for delivering strategic input and contribution to the future growth and development of this relatively new service line. The intended focus will be on the Infrastructure market both in the UK and overseas. There will be no 'cold sell' due to the strength of the brand and an established Client list.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you to take the reins of a new service line and make your name within the business and the market. This would suit an ambitious and Entrepreneurial individual with a passion for delivering high value and insightful outcomes to their Clients as well as mentoring, coaching, developing and growing a team.

The Business will be fully supportive of you and provide you with all the tools required to deliver in this role. This is a dynamic and challenging role, but one that will be incredibly rewarding due to the pleasant working environment, the ongoing investment in your development and the international spread of projects.

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you:

-Be naturally inquisitive with an eye for detail

-Demonstrate an advanced level of motivational intelligence

-Have a track record in financial auditing or cost management

-Have a strong academic record, ideally to degree level (or equivalent)

-Ideally be either RICS or ACCA, although not essential

-Have proven and demonstrable leadership and management experience

-Have extensive knowledge and competence in the use of construction contracts, preferably NEC3

-Have knowledge of data modelling, data cleansing, and data enrichment techniques

Some typical duties:

-Lead, coach and develop the skills and capabilities of team members to share knowledge, increase team skill levels and improve the standard of service delivery.

-Monitor and review the performance and behaviour of all team members, including educating and influencing others

-Use own knowledge and experience of best practice to support the ongoing development of systems and processes

-Lead and manage multiple cost assurance assignments from inception to completion, managing teams and resources to ensure delivery standards meet client expectations

-Create project costings and budgets from clear objectives

-Managing finances across multiple projects to ensure profit and budgetary targets are met
