A highly regarded , independent and long established Consultancy has a rare and exciting opportunity for an Associate Quantity Surveyor to join their organisation.

The opportunity has been created as a result of an ongoing and exceptional service led offering with a major, blue chip Infrastructure sector client. In addition to this, our Client has identified a plethora of sustainable, future business opportunities thus justifying the need to bring in a high calibre Associate who can operate independently.

They are very much looking to attract a rising star; someone that the senior leadership team can actively sponsor and promote internally to Partner.

As an Associate Quantity Surveyor, you will initially be supporting an extension to an existing programme and be responsible for undertaking independent review of cost estimate and assurance. This will be across a very high profile, multi-billion programme of work, covering the whole scope of delivery.

You will provide a considered and focused service to the programme and act as a trusted advisor.

With a growing portfolio of Infrastructure focused assignments you will support across all sectors including Water, Highways, Rail, Aviation and Power.

To be successful in this role it is anticipated that you:
-Be educated to degree level in a relevant subject
-Be Chartered or near Chartered with the RICS or ICES
-Hold demonstrable experience in supporting clients across major Infrastructure programmes
-Have very strong knowledge of the NEC form of contract
-Be able to build effective working relationships with multiple project stakeholders
-Be proactive and an independent operator
