We are working closely with a tier-1 multi-disciplinary consultancy which occupies a prominent position in the New Zealand engineering landscape. This home-grown company has enjoyed tremendous success in recent years and this is heavily reflected in the high-profile projects and alliances that they have become involved in. They have been built on a foundation of inclusivity with a good proportion of employees holding a stake in the business. With employee development and ongoing training to the fore, this is a great place for experienced engineers to open doors and build long-term careers with impact and meaning.
A large part of this growth has centred on the land development business, which offers a generalist civil engineering product to developers and corporates nationally, particularly at the larger end of the scale. With a significant quantity of high-profile projects in the pipeline, a number of opportunities are currently available for motivated, technically-specialist civil engineers to join a high-performing and collaborative team.
Opportunities are available at the intermediate level, requiring at least 3-years of relevant experience, or for senior engineers, who will likely be CPEng or close to being so. Your experience will ideally be broad-based covering civil design, roading, 3-waters etc, however there are certainly opportunities for candidates with specialist experience, for example in stormwater design. You will prior experience utilising industry-specific software such as Civil 3D and 12d. Above all you will require the interpersonal abilities to thrive in a multi-specialist organisation where the ability to network internally and influence a range of stakeholders will be key to your success. New Zealand gained experience is generally preferred however candidates with strong experience of large-scale land development projects gained internationally will certainly be considered.
