Our client is a premier land development consultancy with a substantial and high-profile presence in the Auckland market. They operate a multi-disciplinary approach with expertise across engineering, planning, surveying, GIS and urban design. They tend to engage at the mid and larger scale of land development projects, ranging from 30-lot sub-divisions and upwards. At the upper end of this, they have been engaged on one of the largest ongoing programmes of work in the Auckland region; one that feeds directly into the development of the housing market for the next 5-10 years.

An opportunity is available for an experienced Stormwater Engineer to join an established and specialist team responsible for the delivery of key elements of these high-profile land development projects. Broadly speaking, key duties of the role will involve design modelling, calculations and report writing for a range of challenging stormwater projects.

To be considered for this role, you will require a Bachelor of Engineering degree and have at least 2-3 years of experience working on stormwater infrastructure projects, ideally in a land development capacity. You'll have well developed experience utilising 12d and/or Civil 3D design software. In addition to your technical abilities, my client tends to hire with a focus on attitude and aptitude for problem solving. You'll require a hands-on, challenge-seeking mindset and have the ability to build and nurture productive stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.

In return, the successful candidate will be joining a very well-run and progressive company: small enough to offer a sociable, engaging and multi-cultural environment, and large enough to offer exposure to exceptional projects as well as an established personal development programme supporting long-term growth.

For further information on this, and a number of other similar positions, please contact Duncan McKenzie at Cobalt Recruitment on 027 644 7058 or by applying directly to this advert. All communication will be treated in the strictest of confidence.
