Intermediate Structural Engineer - Auckland

Ref: JN -052019-66435
Auckland, Auckland Central
Construction & Engineering, Civil & Structural
10th May 2019
Job Type

Our longstanding client is a boutique structural engineering consultancy founded on an ethos of exceptional service and the delivery of high-quality outcomes to a diverse client base encompassing property developers and corporate entities. They pride themselves on their open, pragmatic culture with a strong focus on mentoring and development built into the fabric of the business. They are particularly well set up to incorporate candidates seeking an alternative to the corporate world and their positioning in the market is very much to be a counterpoint to the larger, multi-disciplinary consultancies, working on similar types of projects on a smaller scale. Engineers here enjoy strong ownership of outcomes and client exposure.

An opportunity is currently available for an experienced, intermediate-level structural engineer to join the team, based in bright and modern offices in a buzzy enclave of central Auckland. To be considered for this prime opportunity, you will ideally hold a tertiary qualification in structural engineering and have at least 3 years' relevant experience of commercial, complex and technical projects gained from a reputable firm in New Zealand. You will potentially have completed your training in New Zealand before moving overseas for a period of time and be looking for an opportunity to return to these shores. In addition to your technical abilities, you will require the soft skills to thrive in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
