A market leading and independent Consultancy is seeking to attract a Procurement Manager to their highly prestigious organisation. This career opportunity would very much suit an individual who is perhaps operating within a larger Procurement team who is now looking to step into a lead position.

As a Procurement Manager, you will be supporting key Client's across a variety of capital projects in the Highways environment. These could include design services, construction services and technology services. You will be responsible for leading and delivering procurements in line with Public sector procurement requirements, OJEU, without challenge.

As a Procurement Manager, it is expected that you be responsible across:
-eSourcing and/or eEvaluation systems
-Developing Packaging Strategies
-Developing Contracting Strategies
-Commercial management
-Contract management
-Early market engagement
-Risk and opportunity management

To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, it is anticipated that:
-You ideally hold a Construction/Engineering/Commercial related Degree (or equivalent)
-Ideally be chartered or near Chartered with MRICS or MCIPS
-Hold UK Public sector procurement experience
-Ideally have worked on large and complex public sector procurement projects
-Have good knowledge of the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations and/or Utility Regulations
