Position: Procurement Manager or Senior Procurement Manager
Salary and benefits: 50,000 - 75,000+ DOE with benefits to include very generous holiday entitlement, pension, private medical, season loans, well being allowance etc
A long established, highly regarded and Independent Construction Consultancy is seeking to attract a Procurement Manager and Senior Procurement Manager to their organisation.

You will be joining a best in class Procurement service offering, working with highly skilled and experienced individuals who will mentor and share their knowledge with you. This will act as an excellent development role.
As a Procurement Manager or Senior, you will be responsible for inputting into or leading across major and complex procurement in the Rail sector, working with a large blue chip public sector client. You will get involved in procuring a variety of multi faceted scope within OJEU regulations including systems through to civils.
You will be responsible for defining the programme procurement strategy, leading this service on behalf of the Client and for building and leading a procurement focused team.
Areas of responsibility will include:
-eSourcing and/or eEvaluation systems
-Developing Packaging Strategies
-Developing Contracting Strategies
-Early market engagement
-Risk and opportunity management
To be considered for this exceptional opportunity, it is anticipated that you will:
-Hold demonstrable OJEU or Utilities Contracts Regulations procurement experience, gained on projects such as Rail or Major Civils schemes
-Hold a relevant degree within a construction related discipline
-Be chartered with a relevant institution - MRICS, MCIPS or MCIOB
-Previous experience of working in a client focused environment, working closely with clients and other consultants
