Position: Project Manager - NEC
Location: Exeter
Remuneration: 45,000 - 55,000 for the right individual with excellent benefits package including strong pension, medical, holiday etc

A leading Consultancy is seeking to attract a Project Manager to their business. This role has been created as a result of Client requirements and a strong pipeline of future work.

Working with a successful and established team, you will support an extremely well established and mature client base in the contract administration of infrastructure projects. Technical scope will involve the construction of roads, drainage, services and on occasion bridges and structures.

This is a small, albeit high performing team. The role is extremely client facing and stakeholder management will feature a lot in your day to day responsibilities. Working in a reasonably niche area ensures that there will be a consistent flow of new and interesting projects for you to take on. As you develop, you will phase in more pre contract responsibilities ensuring that you gain full project life cycle experience.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
-The administration of infrastructure projects, mostly using NEC ECC form of contract
-Leading in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion
-Setting up and delivery of best practice PM systems and controls
-Ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business
-Gaining the trust of the client, becoming the go to individual
-Forming a strong working relationship, operating in true partnership
-Consistency of service delivery

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you:
-Hold a good level of Project Management experience within the highways and infrastructure environment
-Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and ideally be Chartered or near Chartered
-Have demonstrable knowledge of contract administration
-Experience and working knowledge of ECC forms of contract
