Position: Quantity Surveyor (Rail)

Location: Central London

Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE + Season Ticket + Car Allowance

This unstoppable contractor is looking to strengthen its large and senior commercial team for CP6 with two Quantity Surveyors. Given the make-up of the commercial team, you will be supported in your work by a number of mentors and experienced individuals.

CP6 work has been awarded up to March 2024 as part of the Southern Multi-Discipline Framework. The commercial team are co-located at Network Rail's offices and works will include geotech, drainage, bridge replacement and bridge enhancements let under the NEC form of contract.

The company as a whole have had much success with recent tenders and is in a great financial position moving forward.

The Opportunity:

To assist the Surveying Team with a long term rail contract

Managing the full life cycle of the project

Working on multiple projects at one time

Developing and maintaining positive relationships internally and externally

Remaining customer focused, working with more customers that recognise and buy our value proposition

What are we looking for:

A degree (or working towards) is preferable. Preference will be given to those with experience in rail and general civils. This could also be a fantastic chance for somebody from a highways or wider infrastructure background to broaden their experience. NEC experience will stand you in good stead.
