Senior Associate - Development Advisory / Project Monitor - Pan European investment firm - London

An exceptional opportunity has become available for a Senior Project Monitor / Cost Manager to oversee and manage the real-estate investment portfolio of a London based investment firm. They provide both debt and JV equity investment generally valued £10 - £100 million across the UK and Europe. They have over £1 billion of capital across two funds and have a third fund raised to invest.


£70,000 - £80,000 + Benefits + excellent Bonus

The Development / Project Monitor will be joining one of the leading investment / advisory firms in London with high profile leaders who have a proven track record in this area. They have an established dynamic team of investment, asset management and finance and are looking to expand this with an ambitious and experience cost fund monitor.

The Development / Project Monitor will work closely with the Asset Management team to advise on all aspects of the investment and development lifecycle from analysis of new investments to active investments being delivered on time and budget. The role will include oversee the projects being financed to asses the feasibility / cost plan, due diligence, project and programme risk with the developments. The role will oversee the external monitoring and cost consultants and provide strategic advice to the board.

  • MRICS or appropriate accreditation preferable but not essential
  • BSc in Quantity Surveying
  • Proven background in development / project monitoring
  • Good understanding of the full development cycle, procurement methods and contracts
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Charismatic to work within a dynamic team
