A leading multidisciplinary Consultancy is seeking to attract a Senior Project Manager to join an extremely buoyant and successful service line.

This newly created position exists due to ongoing growth in this niche area. With a very well established and broad client base and with most of their work coming from repeat business this opportunity represents a highly stable environment with a strong pipeline of future projects.

Working with a small but highly successful team, you will support your clients initially in post contract administration. You will be responsible for undertaking client Project Management duties under the ECC NEC form of contract. It is required that you have technical experience in general civil engineering scope including roads, earthworks, drainage, services and public realm. Knowledge of Section 278 or 38 would be desirable.

This is a stand alone and autonomous role and is very much client facing. This represents a great opportunity for an individual to spread their wings and be fully empowered.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for:
-The administration of infrastructure projects, mostly using NEC ECC form of contract
-Leading in the delivery of client requirements from inception to completion
-Setting up and delivery of best practice PM systems and controls
-Ensure that control procedures are in place and adhered to in all areas of the business
-Gaining the trust of the client, becoming the go to individual
-Forming a strong working relationship, operating in true partnership
-Consistency of service delivery

To be successful in this role, it is anticipated that you:
-Hold a good level of Project Management experience within the highways and infrastructure environment
-Hold a degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering and ideally be Chartered or near Chartered
-Have demonstrable knowledge of contract administration
-Experience and working knowledge of ECC forms of contract
